Branding Initiatives
At every stage of my career, I’ve helped shape and evolve the public voice of organizations—from universities and newsrooms to sports teams and state government. I specialize in aligning brand identity with audience expectations, ensuring that messaging is strategic, values-driven, and built for growth.
At the University of North Dakota, I supported the launch of its “Fighting Hawks” brand during a major institutional transition. I helped redefine the university’s digital presence to reflect new leadership, a new logo, and a new voice. While with the Minnesota Wild, I contributed to a creative shift in content strategy—producing community-driven videos that increased social engagement and expanded the team’s family-friendly image.
As a political reporter during the COVID-19 pandemic, I helped lead the digital transformation of our newsroom. We pivoted from traditional article posts to live streaming full newscasts and news packages across social platforms, expanding reach during a critical news cycle.
In Savannah, I’ve been part of the branding efforts for three emerging sports franchises: the Savannah Bananas, Savannah Ghost Pirates (ECHL), and Savannah Clovers FC (NISA). Through announcing, content creation, and game-day presentation, I helped craft their identities and build strong local fan engagement from the ground up.
At Georgia Southern University, I supported communications during a state-mandated college consolidation. Our team led internal and external messaging efforts, managed stakeholder communications, and guided the integration of new communities into the university brand.
